I saw Kins over break and was asked to baby sit for her from 7p.m. to about 1:30a.m. She is such a little munch-Kin! I cannot believe someone can be amazed by lights and ceiling fans. Kins just was in awe (maybe she will be a miner and I will buy her a canary??)
Anyways, I thought that it shouldn't be very bad, which it wasn't... but there are somethings that did catch me by surprise.
1.) Have a baby if you want toned arms. Constantly carrying a 15 lb bundle around is tiring.
2.) Cats and babies do not mix. Especially if the cat is jealous.
3.) It is true... babies just eat, sleep, cry and poop. But this is much more complicated. It is like a surprise attack because you have no idea which order it will come. If you guess the wrong one it could be a disaster... like 15 more minutes of crying! I did this a couple of times. Like you thought she wanted to eat so Iheated a bottle, but really she needed to burp, yet when she burped she spit up, and than she was hungry.. complete choas! Kins, you better learn to talk quickly, especially since your Auntie Em is a communication major.
4.) Huggies - please provide disposable gloves with your diapers. No matter how cute the kid is, the doo doo is not. Actually quite gross. Thanks. Or when I have a child I will register for dishwashing gloves :)
5.) Kins will be a runner and a night talker. Believe me after bouncing her legs around (which was the only thing that pleased her) and hearing her coo during her sleep, I feel certain about these predictions.
So these are some observations... and that munch-Kins is a pretty darn cutie!
Thanks Natalie and Steve for letting us spend time together!
