This is my typical day's schedule for a Wednesday:
5:30am - wake up
6:00 am to 7:15ish - run
8:00ish - get ready
9:00 am to 1:00 pm - HPER for work
1:00 pm to 2:00 - study
2:00pm to 3:15 - class
During my Mondays and Tuesdays I have class from 6-9 or 4-7 too. Throw in some weekly meetings, and BAM you have a headache J. But this is all beside the point. The point of this blog entry is to inform everyone about Briggs Library.
So where do I go if I have a spare minute? The Briggs Library. It is crazy how much is available there. Obviously it is books...but also it has a laptop checkout, food, couches, trashy magazines, etc. I will be making this home for the next twenty days.
Here is the low down of my life for the next twenty days:
**Research Methods: Second chapter (literature review), and Third chapter (methodology) for my thesis – Currently I am looking at Cultural Intergeneration is affecting Intergenerational Transmission and the direction it flows. I’m researching at the moment.
**Media Law: midterm, group project, three quizzes, and 60 article annotated bibliography.
**Conflict Management: three mini papers involving 200+ pages of reading, journal three times a week on conflicts I witness, and a 25 page conflict paper (formatted similar to a mini thesis)
So today I was sick of dragging around my books, so I asked if they had a storage place for grad students. I found the next best thing: LOCKERS. Absolutely free! You receive a key and it is yours for the entire semester. Pretty sweet deal.
The crazy thing is I do not have a locker at the Wellness Center and anyone that knows me I am there religiously each day.
To simplify my life I should just become a hobo and live on campus.
