Jones Tradition

Evan's family has a tradition to make a ton of Apple pies in one day - like dozens upon dozens!  We make the crust, Erin and family picks the apples, and we all gather to assemble.  Then we split up the pies amongst the five families to enjoy throughout the year!  Honestly, they are the best pies I have ever had :).   This year's total was 51 Apple Pies!

Niece, Nephew, Grandma, Grandpa, and Sister all working hard at 9:00 am.
You should own a pampered chef apple peeler if you make mass amounts of pies.
Jake helping Colton peel some apples.

Annika and Colton were amazing helpers!  They peeled numerous boxes of apples like the one shown.

Pat-a-pat-pat.

Don't make the dough too thin when rolling it out!

1.25 C. Sugar, 2 Tbsp Flour, 1 Tbsp Cinnamon, 4 C. Apples = YUM.
The top has been added!
Making it look pretty with pinched edges… VIOLA!
