Evan and I went to was an Irish Fair in St. Paul.
First off, I drove.
Second off, Evan was the passenger.
Third off, I don't like being passed nor passing people. Imagine how this works in the cities... about as well as freezing ice berg lettuce (which is a whole other post).
So we set off. Evan is super supportive of my apprehension in the cities. However, when we approached an enclosed tunnel going 55 mph, I about threw up. All I could think about was Princess Diana being killed in one of these tunnels. I was certain I was going down. Instead of speeding up to keep up with the traffic I slammed on the breaks and went 35 mph. I believe I will be the one creating a traffic jam from cautious driving.
Anyways, we made it. I did not look foxy with my flush cheeks, white knuckles, and pit stains. Evan always looks at the positive and said the skyline looked gorgeous :) He is such a positive person!
The Irish fair is actually really neat. They had a couple of Irish bands rocking out such as Gaelic Storm. They are kind of sassy and I love their accent! Next year I'm going to enter Evan in the Best Legs contest. Yes, a kilt maybe his Christmas present. Embrace diversity Evan.
Ps. We also ran into my friend Heidi's friend (Dani) and Evan's former classmate (Tracy) within minutes of arriving. Small world!
