The Jackrabbit Insider

Yesterday evening Blake and I both received texts from Merriam to come in the next day wearing something suitable for television.  We were the people in the hot seats.  I think this is hilarious that we got featured as a GA, yet I'm not going to lie I was stoked!

I looked scared, but really it is just my facial expressions that
are out of control.  This was during the summer at the MN
Science Museum.

Of course I woke up late was was 15 minutes late for recording.  That's just me.  Blake went first and basically was a pro.  He answered every question without having to redo.  Me on the other hand, well I had to reshoot my name, hometown, major, and job six times!! I am not a pro.  I just couldn't quit giggling. The questions ranged from my favorite food, first car, favorite television show, why I chose SDSU etc.  Omgoodness, what I said and did was just, ugh, embarrassing!!!

Here are some things I decided to say:

• I loved lefse because I was Norwegian and I only get it 3 times a year.
• I chose SDSU because of the teacher to student ratio and that I LOVE SDSU ice cream.
• My favorite television show was Survivor and I watch every single episode because I'm such a Holly Hoffman fan - GO HOLLY!! (I did a fist pump.  Yeah, I was not thinking!)
• My first car had a flower antenna.
• I couldn't think of a favorite cartoon growing up… I told them all I could think about was Barney and I did not want to say that.

There are more things but this just means that you have to tune in on Sunday night at 10:30 p.m. on Sioux Falls based KTTW FOX 7 for the Jackrabbit Insider where you will first see a pro aka Blake, and than see the reserve aka me take the hot seat.  Your welcome for the laughs :)
