Earlier this summer I received a letter. However, it was not an ordinary letter. This was a letter from a male professing his love for me... I had never had contact with him other than saying hello and how are you doing at the Canaries. At the end of the letter he wrote ps. 1 week. I was freaked. Got the police involved and thought I would never hear from him again. Wrong. A week went by and he left a voice message and was angry I never responsed to him. My time was up.
I had only heard of sighting of him around SF. Except for this weekend when I actually encountered him.
I was walking with Jen and Scott and had actually just told them the story about the stalker. And holy geez, there he was walking down the other side of the street. I freaked out and began walking quicker trying to disappear. He made no effort to approach me, acknowledge me or anything... safe right?! WRONG.
Tonight I came back to the townhouse and had received a facebook message. But when I opened it I screamed. He had created a facebook account and had written a message in poetic terms. He had created an account just to talk to me.... at the end he left an encoded message... I was scared.
To find me on facebook is pretty difficult and he had... so I was trying to figure it out... so I googled my name. Twitter was the first thing that came up. Shoot! I checked my account. Sure enough someone had recently started following me today with an encoded message account name.
It had been 6 hours since he had created these accounts and found me. 6 hours to follow my history and possibly know where I am going to be. 6 hours.... that's a long time. Thus, the reason for now blocking my blog, twitter, and higher security on facebook.
I have already contacted the police to add this to the file. Tomorrow I have to go to the station and have a protection order put on him. I am worried he will show up in the next town. I really don't believe he is any danger.... but.... it has been 4 months of this. I'm tired of it too.
That's my night. Huge thanks to Jen for helping me with the police tonight and for loaning me pepper spray.
Forwarning: Don't mess with me... I have pepper spray.
