White Wonderful World

Did you think know that you can hike within five minutes of the big, bad city?  Boom, you can.  Enjoy this picture story of our trip!

Smiley group :)  Evan works with Matt at TCF, and luckily he snagged a great lady, Stacie, who is always up for a crazy adventure!  Matt and Stacie invited us to go cross-country skiing at Elm Creek, but unfortunately the rain killed the snow on the trails.  Onto the next best idea - hiking!  This place is pretty cool with all the trails and possibility to see deer.  Honestly, when you live in the city a deer sighting is pretty cool… what, who have I become!? :)

Luckily, Evan had his precious walking stick and was able to jab the ice to see if it was okay.

I was so happy it was safe so I gave him a big smooch...

And we had a dance party!

Look closely and you will see open water in the background… we are such risk takers on this trickling stream :)

Matt and Stacie lead the way onto our next big hiking adventure!

He could join the circus and walk the tight rope!

Guess what people, we found our next adventure…

TREE CLIMBING!  Don't be fooled, it was not that easy because the tree was covered with ice.  You just must pretend to be a koala and climb.

They were so happy to make it down the tree safely :)
