The time has come to tell you that I officially have been offered and accepted a job! Starting December 3rd, I will be joining Best Buy at their headquarters in Richfield as the new Integrated Promotional Strategy and Planning Marketing Lead. Aka, I have a lot of work to do, but I'm so excited!! I will be working with tons of merchants, executives, and doing a lot of presentations.
This all started two week ago, and boy oh boy did I have quite the process! Between my regular job, house closing work, hosting family, and finding out I have five cavities (another story), I had to submit an online portfolio, conducted an informational interview, phone interview, a three hour interview, and create a marketing based powerpoint presentation on a Best Buy promotional concept. It was absolutely unreal how much I have crammed into the past two weeks!!
Anyways, I'm super excited to stop looking for a position especially during the holiday season, the vision insurance, AND to know I can contribute to our little family :) When I have more time I'll elaborate on the interview, the leak, and a little bit of the culture I will be encountering!
Happy Holidays folks!
Congrats!!
