Yes, it is time. Time to rejoice. Time to be terrified. Time to explore the unknown. Time to strut my stuff. Time to follow my heart. Time to not hold back. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).
Yes, I am finally graduating - in December that is. Before I do graduate, I will be setting SDSU goals and actually accomplish them.
So….
This is SDSU's 2011-2012 motto. Surprisingly it is fitting for me. Think about it…
You rings the bell when you are on your final lap in a race, so you can sprint to the finish line with your entire heart. Feeling sick the entire way but you push on because you know that it is just a few steps away. You can ring the bell when you begin an event signifying that it is starting. You hear the bell and you know that something is coming, so be aware and get excited!
It can be interpret it in so many ways, and I'm embracing the daydreaming and stomach-wrenching possibilities. However, the fact is that I'm putting on my big-girl heels and marching into the world in December. YIKES!!
Before I do, here is my 'Ring the Bell' list:
1.) Visit the meat lab
2.) One fifty-five
3.) Ride my bike to campus
4.) Play soccer with the international kiddos
5.) Join an intramural team
6.) Attend an SDSU concert
7.) Write thank you's
8.) Finish my thesis … this probably should be #1!
9.) Learn photoshop
10.) Learn to utilize my blog to benefit others and myself
So if you see me struggling riding my bike to campus, please do not stop… instead yell at me to keep peddling because I need all the bell ringing help I can get.
