For years I asked for a cow. I thought it would just be fabulous to walk up to Kyle's and watch my cow in the pasture. I would show my cow in the county fair and earn a purple ribbon. And to top it off, I would milk Jersey and make some delicious some delicious butter and cheese. This was a childhood dream. And I would ask my dad over and over and over. Unfortunately, my dad knew me better than I knew myself. I never got a cow.
Now as Christmas approaches my mom asked me what I would like. My response was "a cow." This time I would rather have it cut and grounded up and placed in my freezer. However, my mom's response was that I should be more practical. I told her that is probably the most practical thing I could ask for. And she agreed but told me to ask for something different.
This is now my mission to get a 'cow' this Christmas whether it is in the form of beef, leather, or a painting.
A dream should never die.
