Is it easy to mail a letter?  Yes.  

Is it easy to put the letter in a drop box?  Yep.  

Now the real question is if I can mail a letter in a drop box?  Nope.    

Last night I had to mail five letters.  So after driving around Minneapolis with Evan, he pulled up to the townhouse complex's drop box so I could just lean out the window.  Instead of dropping them into the drop box one or two at a time, I stuffed all of them into the tiny slit at once.  Sometimes my excitement to pay the bills just cannot be contained :)  An average person could handle this task and it would be o big deal, right?  Lies.  I apparently am not the average Jones.  Nope because when I pushed the letters into the drop box a couple letters went upwards and a couple letters went downwards.  Now this doesn't seem that bad; however, there are mailboxes right above the drop box.  The letters that went up actually went up into the #12 mailbox above the drop box.  The width of that crack is about 1/16 of an inch.  Sometimes I am so talent!  

Since I got into this predicument you think I could get out of it?  Not a chance.  I couldn't grab anything because my shellac nails prevent me from gripping anything.  I started panicking because I had just shoved checks into someone's mailbox… and I didn't know that someone.  So when I panic mode, ask your loving husband to help :)

 Here is my wonderful hubby attempting to undo my mistake :) We don't look sketchy at all in the late evening attempting to stick out hands in the drop box and a mailbox!

Lesson learned: I will now contain my excitement when paying the bills.
