Sprinklers

Ever wonder how they mark sprinkler heads?  Well I know.

I know because I was assigned last week mark the sprinklers on the full length SDSU practice soccer field.  

Bearnie handed me a handful of flags and said 'mark them.'  I wasn't too sure how I was going to find the sprinkler heads because they are the type that disappear into the ground when not in use.  Of course when there is a question there is an answer.  

Bearnie turned the water on and up came the heads…."Go!" 

That's right… this 24-year-old pushed aside all pride and did sprints up and down the full length soccer field, while water pelted me.  FYI: There is like 8 rows going the full length with 13 heads in each row.

That was the most exhilarating $8.00 yet.
