Thanks and Giving

I did it when I was a freshman.  There was a movie made of it.  You are told to do it each year, but how many people actually do it?  No, this will not be an earth shattering idea; however, it is quite pleasant.

Random Acts of Kindness.

Not the ones that you automatically do, like hold the door open for the lady on crutches or say 'bless you' when someone sneezes.  It is thought out (wow this sounds like a creepy thing), oh well, tis the season.  So for the month of December I am going to try to do 25 random acts of kindness that are pre-mediated :)

Why?  Because I have been blessed with two hands, two feet, a healthy heart, and an itch to pass along a good deed.  Also, how amazing is it to have your car scraped off or someone give you a lift when you run too far one way?  It is just wonderful!

For example, scrape off someone's car windows, shovel a sidewalk, pay for a coffee… just little things.  I'm not looking to change anything, but maybe just make someone smile.  I would love to see their reaction, but I'm not that crazy to sit in the snow and wait for someone to come out and see their windows have been scraped.  That would be a little ridiculous people.  I know this blog will not hold me accountable, so I'm still working on the accountability aspect.

Be excited for the next 25 blogs of nice.
