Up-lifting.

Somedays a person just cannot top - today- wow!  

Some reason I like to set my alarm for 6:15 each morning regardless if it is the weekend.  Now I never wake up then.  Typically I snooze it until 7:45.  Like every other time I did that this morning.  I really need to come to grips that I just will not wake up that early and set it for a later time OR become a morning person.  Either way I need to figure this out stat!

  When I finally rolled out of bed I headed to Cottonwood Bistro to meet Mel at 8:03.  Thank goodness she gave me the extra 3 minutes :)  I absolutely love chatting with her.  Her life is always so busy and going to do things to help others.  Just from chatting (guys, work, travels, family, friends, upcoming plans, etc) with her I was a giddy lady.  Next weekend I get to see her too for Jackrabbit football game! YEA!

I had to leave to get ready for church at 10:30 because I was too lazy to before meeting Mel.  As I was driving back I got to talk to another great friend - Dan!  He is out in Great Falls, MT.  I need to send him mug shots so he can put me all around his apartment and just thinking I probably should make a wallet for him too.  You can't go wrong having too many friends pictures (HA!).  I'm getting soooo excited for the New Years!!  I just need to find a Jewish family.... hmmm. 

Off to church with Evan and his niece and nephew.  They were super cute and sat surprisingly well for the long service.  Something about this service hit me.  I REALLY enjoyed it.  Sometime I would love to go have coffee with the pastor or join a small group.  1 Corinthians 12.  What's your spiritual gifts? Also read Romans.  Amazing.

I feel so at peace right now -- kind of uplifting!  Almost feel as if I can conquer anything and everything thrown before me.  But I do know these next two weeks will be a brutal preparation period of the final week in September.  Stay focused.

Monday: 3 meetings & 3hr seminar

Tuesday: 1 meeting, 2 journals due & 3 hr seminar

Wednesday: 2 appointments in SF, lunch with Jen, & work

Thursday: 3 hr seminar, 1 meeting, & 3 hr seminar

Friday: Thesis copy due, 1 meeting, work & soccer game

Saturday: Football game work & Mom and Landon is coming

Sunday: Soccer game work

Rinse and Repeat :)
