Power of Prayer

Lord, you gave me this day.  

I didn't ask for it, but I was glad to have it.  I did the best I could with it and you helped me, and I thank you.

I made some mistakes.  That was when I didn't follow your advice, and I am sorry about that.  Forgive me.  But I had some victories and successes, too, and I am grateful for your guidance.  

But now Lord, mistakes or successes, victories or defeats, the day is over and I'm through with it, so I'm giving it back to you.
