18 Educated Years

Yes, it is true. I am a complete nerd. It is year 18 of me attending school. Putting that into perspective that is more than 2/3rd of my life! Uffda. But I am excited just like it was the first day of kindergarten. Bag is packed, alarm set, ready for bed, and clothes laid out. Although this is a little different. I feel confident on the campus, yet nervous because I don't have any idea what to expect.

I have opinion writing tomorrow. My anticipation of this class is that there will be numerous small projects, but I will struggle because I am not overly opinionated about topics.
Research methods I don't expect to be difficult just time consuming. A lot of data gathering and working with team members. This part I somewhat dread because of scheduling.

Media law with Dr. Hinde. He is always way out there for his stories. As long as I stay focused and read the small details, I pray it will be fine. I did take a law course before and I wanted to gag myself by the 3rd class period. This I'm guessing the 2nd class period. Oh and sidenote, I spoke with someone today about it and they scared the daylights out of me! Her statement "I was a nerd and got an A, but the rest of the class got D's." My comment, "that is a huge difference! So it is hard unless I have no life?!"

Conflict Management. I really don't know what to expect. I believe it will be taking a current issue and analyzing it and than present a case on it. Somewhat tedious.

This is my preview of my classes. I will attempt to walk to classes tomorrow even though it is about a mile away. Good exercise right? Also I get to swim with Barb at noon!! I'm really excited to get back in the routines again.

Weekend anticipation: go home tomorrow evening and be with Landon, see Nikki from Aberdeen on Friday, Mel either Friday or Saturday, cook gumbo with roomie Friday night, Saturday maybe go to a pharmacy party, Sunday... who knows - as sad as this sounds I guess my hopes aren't getting up there, Monday being a pile of nothing :) I hope to get some good miles in too. Today I went 7 when it was dusk. Somewhat tricky with the icy sidewalks.
Well off to bed!

Doing what I do best :)
