A life lesson.

Lesson today: always have fuel in your car. My car is homeless at Target.

Frozen gas lines: Ice forms inside the gas lines from condensation build up. To avoid this, keep your gas tank at least half full at all times. Also, use gas line antifreeze with isopropyl alcohol; it is compatible with today's computer controls and fuel injection systems. I suggest using gas line antifreeze at least twice a week during the extremely cold weather. -- Says Google!

Like I said I went to get my car at 2:00 a.m. w/ a co-worker. Andrew owed me a ride so I called him up cause I knew he was awake. He came to Bath and picked me up. Drove back to town to get antifreeze, heat, and some more gas. After attempting for an hour (3:00 am), we headed back to Bath. We had failed.

The next morning was brutal. I had a double and my grandma had to drive me in. When I arrived at Titan at 8:30 a.m. I was a mess cause I didn't know how or what I was going to do. The guys knew I was stressed so they were my 'knights in shining armour.' Ron and I worked on my car for an hour in the parking lot with jumping it, etc. No go. BUT luckily the mechanics like me. Dennis, Terry, Doug, Bob, and Ron towed my car to the shop. After running battery tests, putting some engine stuff in, and letting it thaw out for 3 hours it started! So thankful for the co-workers!!

I learned several things:
1.) Never let your tank get below 1/2 full in the winter. Even if it is -30 still fill up otherwise you will have more trouble.
2.) Antifreeze will not freeze. At 2:30a.m. Andrew told me to put the antifreeze in my trunk. My response, "Won't it freeze?" Sometimes what I say I'm amazed at.
3.) My total bill was $4.19 and 18 donuts. Men like donuts.
4.) I really need to learn about cars.
5.) I have used up my favor with Andrew :)

Life is wonderful.
