Okay, let's admit it. Everyone seems to bend or break their resolutions somewhere within the year. So this begs the question: Should the resolution be life changing or day change? Simple or Complex? Realistic or Unrealistic? Heart wrenching if not obtained? I guess over the years I have participated in this activity of figuring out a limitation. Last year I wanted to run a marathon, but wasn't able to continue training because of a back injury. The year before it was to exercise each day and no more soda, chocolate, and ice cream. Well exercising stuck, but the other three only lasted 1.5 years. So what should it be this year?
I have pondered this. I believe that I should have a couple. Some that are hard to keep, complex, simple and reachable. So here is some that I have thought of:
** Be kinder to my family. Friends I have this down for the most part... but my immediate family needs more loving. I believe this will happen over time.
** Run a 1/2 marathon. Training is going well.
** Be more open minded.
** Become more domesticated.
** Don't sleep in past 10:30. It's a waste of day.
These are just some I have pondered about... let's see what I decide on.
