The weekend is done! Now the reports on the Harry Caray tribute and Sundae Sunday....
Harry Caray, what to say?! Dennis Duffels is an impersonator that travels the country doing a Harry impression. When he first came I was quite flustered by the guy. When asking questions
he would look at the male interns, when I was the one he was suppose to be speaking with. I would answer it, and he would continue to do it over. Finally he got the point. One thing about society is that they do not expect a female to be in a leadership/head position. Hopefully this trend will be changed cause it sucks!
When he was getting ready for the game someone had to color his hair. I did! He had a tooth brush and white paste. First time for everything! Throughout the game he was great with getting the crowd involved, announcing, and just making a good laugh.
Sundae Sunday actually happened! Tyler, a front office co-worker, was attempting to eat his height in ice cream (5'11)! He sat on the family berm with an evestrough throughout the game... kinda like an animal on display. People would cheer him on and he actually did pretty well. 4'11" well!! But we promoted enough that we sold 100 sundaes :)
Something like this makes me so excited because no one expected it to happen. But it did!
